Hands of Hope

Family handprint paintings arranged around the room signs of Hope for the Future, once used in our original building.

At Hope for the Future, we organize handprint painting activities with every family as a meaningful and creative way to inspire unity, connection, and hope. This activity serves as a bonding experience, allowing families to come together and leave a lasting imprint—both on the canvas and in their hearts.

Originally, we created a single handprint painting to display on our walls, symbolizing the strength and resilience of the families we serve. However, as time went on, parents who had lost parental rights began requesting to take these paintings home, cherishing them as a reminder of the love and bond they shared with their children. Touched by this, we made the heartfelt decision to create two paintings: one to display in our center, serving as a beacon of inspiration for others, and one for the parents to take home as a symbol of hope, resilience, and the enduring power of family. This simple yet profound act reflects our commitment to supporting families, even in their most challenging moments, and reinforces the message that hope is never lost.
